Mr Sibongiseni Kumalo (Director and  Academic Manager)

Mr. Sibongiseni Kumalo is the Director and Academic Manager responsible for academic delivery. He has been at Regenesys since 2007. Prior to Regenesys, he worked as a researcher in various organisations, including the Commission on Traditional Leadership Disputes and Claims, Menyetla Projects, and Environmental Biotechnology Research Group. Sibongiseni has a Master of Arts degree (Humanities) from Rhodes University.

During his five years at Regenesys, Sibongiseni has held various senior positions in the areas of knowledge management, material development, facilitation, masters’ research supervision and academic management.

Because Regenesys is predominantly a knowledge organisation, Sibongiseni has had to ensure the effective management, access, maintenance and storage of knowledge (in the form of e.g. learning materials, articles, research, case studies, assessments, and reports). As a strong academic, he also facilitates extensively and promotes academic quality at Regenesys.
