Personal and Team Effectiveness

Course overview

This course starts with diverse team members completing an introspection of themselves. It celebrates individual assets and the contribution that individuals can make to a team. It’s then followed by a brief exploration into the theories about group and team development and the different roles that are vital to team formation. The most intense session of this course deals with team building and how teams relate to one another to accomplish tasks. Team members are supplied with useful tools, including reflective evaluation to determine whether team building is actually necessary in an organisation. Many teams may require drivers beyond just team building and the final part of the course deals with issues such as conflict management within a team and methods to motivate a team.
