Knowledge Economy:

An economy that is predominantly based on knowledge or intellectual capital. In a knowledge-based economy a major part of a company’s assets is people’s knowledge. Developing countries have manufacturing and agricultural-based economies, while developed countries have knowledge and service-based economies.
