WHAT DOES IT MEAN? – Atmospherics

Atmospherics is the environment in a shop that encourage a customer to enter the shop and make a purchase. Atmospherics include decorations, air-conditioning, lighting, design and layout, which are designed to influence customer’s emotions in order to increase chances of making a sale. Atmospherics is part of an organisations overall branding, image and culture.
