Regenesys on the Global Leadership Stage

Over the last few weeks Regenesys has been proud to be represented at three high profile events where the stage was shared with heads of state, international industry leaders and influential scientists, academics and thought-leaders.

The General Assembly of the United Nations invited Marko Saravanja, CEO of Regenesys Management, to attend High-Level Meeting on Africa’s Development Needs on at the UN Headquarters in New York.  The meeting’s objectives included renewing international commitments to Africa’s development and achievement of the Millennium Development Goals by focusing on forward looking strategies for addressing the continent’s economic and social challenges. The meeting was opened by the Secretary-General of the United Nations and the President of the General Assembly, followed by focused round table discussions which included many African leaders, major development partners as well as an exclusive selection of highly accomplished scientists, authors and global innovation leaders.

Also in New York, Marko was a participant in the Global Creative Leadership Summit (GCLS), a high-level international annual forum that facilitates cross-cultural empathy and multidisciplinary thinking on current global issues at the highest levels. Marko was part of two panels of experts who tackled the topics of ‘Development, Trade and Economy in Africa’ and ‘Education, Creativity and the Mind’

Phici Mbatha, Head of Regenesys Business School traveled to California in October to participate in the Fortune, The Most Powerful Women summit – the world’s premiere gathering of women leaders in business, government, academia, philanthropy, and the arts.
